CiTy JAZZ

CiTy JAZZ is a project that brings together the talents and experience of musicians from three urban areas: Szczecin, Bydgoszcz, and Poznań. It focuses on discovering and interpreting jazz and swing repertoire from the second half of the 20th century. The project pays tribute to vocalists (Ewa Bem – Por Favor, Żyj kolorowo, Hanna Banaszak – W moim magicznym domu, Norah Jones – Don’t Know Why, Stevie Wonder – Sir Duke), instrumentalists (Jerzy “Duduś” Matuszkiewicz – W barze, J.J. Johnson – Coffee Pot), and composers (Włodzimierz Nahorny – Jej portret, Antonio Carlos Jobim – One Note Samba), presenting legendary as well as lesser-known pieces that have contributed to the richness of jazz heritage.

Through refined interpretations, we immerse the audience in a unique atmosphere, highlighting the evolution and artistry of jazz.
